KING LEAR at the CITIZENS THEATRE

Huns , cant live with them...can live without them , that has been the motto of the week here in Glasgow. It has also been a bad week for plastic Catalans. But we could escape by looking at the universal David Murray character called King Lear. It takes a very special performance to upstage Derek Jacobi , but David Hayman done it.Sure there was the unfortunate ubiquitous Ronaldo moments ,but overall he performed the role with a deft subtlety becoming of a master of his craft.
